HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani recently sent a written message to HE President of the Republic of Panama Laurentino Cortizo, pertaining to the bilateral relations and ways of promoting and developing them.

The message was handed over by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Panama Saad bin Mubarak Al Nuaimi, during his meeting with HE Panamanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Alejandro Ferrer.

Last month of June this year, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held  a telephone conversation with Panama's leader, during which they reviewed bilateral relations, and the prospects of enhancing them in various fields, especially in investment and health.

Discussions also dealt with the latest developments related to the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and areas of co-operation in this regard.
