HMC announces changes in working hours during Ramadan

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced changes to the working hours of a number of services on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
 
All emergency and inpatient services across the HMC’s network of hospitals will continue to work as normal, 24 hours, seven days every week.
 
* Changes to services run through the national coronavirus (Covid-19) helpline number: 16000
- Covid-19 helpline: Ramadan service hours – 24 hours a day, seven days each week; how to access the service – call 16000, opt for a language, and select 1 for Covid-19 helpline.
The HMC’s OPD virtual clinics will work jointly with HMC Urgent consultation clinics.
Patients will be called for their virtual appointments from 9am to 2pm, from Sunday to Thursday.
 
- HMC Urgent Consultation Service: Ramadan service hours – seven days per week, from 8am to 3pm. You can access the service by calling the helpline number 16000, opt for a language, select 3 for HMC, and select 1 for HMC Urgent Consultation.
 
 
- Mental Health Helpline: Ramadan service hours starts from 9am until 2pm and from 9pm to 2am, Saturday to Thursday, and from 9am until 2pm on Fridays. You can access this service by dialing 16000, selecting language, select 3 for HMC, and select 1 for HMC Urgent Consultation.
 
- HMC Pharmacy Medication Home Delivery Service commences from 8am to 3pm, Saturday to Thursday (closed on Fridays). The service is available by calling 16000, select language, select 3 for HMC, and select 2 for Medication Delivery (please be reminded there is a QR30 fee for delivery payable by credit card).
 
* HMC’s Drug information Service starts from 8am until 3pm, Saturday to Thursday (closed on Fridays). Please call the number for this service 40260759.
 
* HMC Diabetes Hotline will continue to operate seven days per week from 8am until 5.30pm and from 7.30pm until 11pm and you can call 16099/4.
 
The diabetes hotline is operated by trained diabetes educators with back-up physician.
* Changes to Hamad Medical Corporation hospitals Emergency Services: All Emergency Departments, Paediatric Emergency Departments and inpatient services across HMC’s network of hospitals will continue to operate as normal, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
* Blood Donation: Blood Donor Centre next to Hamad General Hospital: Saturday to Thursday from 8am to 1pm and from 6pm to midnight.
 
New Blood Donor Centre opposite Outpatient Department next to Surgical Specialty Centre: from 6pm to midnight, Saturday to Thursday (closed in the morning). Both centers are closed on Fridays.
 
* The HMC’s Nesma’ak Customer Service
 
The Nesma’ak Customer Service helpline, 16060, will run from Sunday to Thursday, from 7am to10pm, and on Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.
