Owing to the increase in number of new COVID-19 cases in Qatar, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has updated its visitor policy. 

Starting from Friday, 11 February 2021, no visitors will be allowed at the following facilities:

1. Communicable Disease Center

2. Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital

3. The Cuban Hospital

4. Mesaieed Hospital

5. All facilities of the Enaya Specialized Care Center

All other HMC facilities will continue admitting visitors from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. However, only one visitor would be allowed at a time, and the consultation would last not more than 15 minutes. 

HMC has advised all visitors to wear masks, show their Ehteraz app and undergo body temperature checks. 

HMC stated that these updates are being introduced to ensure the safety of patients and visitors.
