Hot weather during day time with strong wind from today to Thursday in Qatar

The Department of Meteorology has observed fresh to strong Northwesterly wind that will continue in most areas in Qatar with visibility dropping to 4 km in some areas due to blowing dust. Wind speed is expected to decrease at night. It has advised everyone to be careful.

The local weather official also reported that wave height ranges between 4 to 8 Ft according to latest observations with strong Northwesterly wind reaching 28 kt. Marine warnings are expected to continue in the coming two days.
Strong northwesterly wind exceeding 22 kt in some areas is also observed. Everyone is also advised to watch out for blowing dust and low visibility especially in open areas.
Earlier this morning, the weather official announced that there will be hot weather during daytime with some clouds and wind is northwesterly fresh to strong causing blowing dust and low visibility especially in open areas. Marine warnings remain in effect.

Qatar is expected to be affected by northwesterly fresh to strong wind from today, May 11, to Thursday noon May 14, with wind speed ranging between 15 to 25 kt gusting more than 35 kt at times in some areas especially during noon time causing blowing dust and low visibility below 3 km at times especially in open areas.
In addition, wave height is expected to rise offshore between 4 to 7 ft. reaching 9 ft. at times during this period. Regarding temperature, maximums expected to range between 31 to 37 °C and minimums between 20 to 26 °C across the country. Qatar Meteorology Department urges all to be careful, avoid marine activities as well to follow latest updates through its official social media accounts.
