The Warm Winter 2021 plan in Kosovo has been completed by the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS). Winterization clothing was provided to poor households and children, along with the Kosovo Red Cross, in the midst of cold weather.

The project's aim is to bring warmth to the neediest families. Warm jackets and sweaters are important during these months. Six hundred and eighty-four warm clothing kits were distributed, with 384 for adults and 300 for girls.

The QR80,300 initiative has entered 684 marginalized families in 12 of Kosovo's municipalities. Widowed mothers, abducted infants, and lonely aged people were given special care. The beneficiaries shared their appreciation for the aid, which made their financial life better during the winter months.

QRCS is introducing its Warm Winter initiative under the slogan of Dignity Is Invaluable, which aims to distribute winterization and food assistance to ensure warmth for and preserve the dignity of 45,270 individuals, summing 272,880 beneficiaries, in 15 countries (Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Gaza, Jerusalem, and the West Bank, Bangladesh, Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kyrgyzstan).

The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is a voluntary charitable organization that strives, without prejudice or bigotry, to support and inspire disadvantaged people and societies.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and 191 National Societies make up the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. QRCS is also a member of numerous GCC, Arab and Islamic organizations, including the International Crescent Islamic Committee and the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Association (ARCO).

QRCS has access to crisis and war areas as a consequence of this officially recognized role and therefore acts as an adjunct to the State of Qatar in its humanitarian activities, a role that sets it apart from other charitable organizations and NGOs.

QRCS is a non-profit organization that functions both domestically and globally, with current humanitarian and construction programs in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
