The Ministry of Municipality and Environment recently announced that 21 violations were recorded by the municipal inspectors. These include violations of of some provisions of the Law No. 8 of 190 for regulating foods during the inspections at the establishments.

As a result of the inspection, the Director of Al Daayen Municipality issued three decisions to close food outlets. The establishments were investigated and proven to have been preparing food in unhealthy conditions and using food items which were found not suitable for human consumption.

Five complaints were received by the health monitoring unit and were taken action immediately.
