Josoor Institute to hold webinar on ‘Delivering Carbon Neutrality’ at FIFA World Cup 2022™

The objective of the session is to transfer knowledge, spark conversation and provide a unique take and perspective on a range of topics related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
 
Josoor Institute is organizing a webinar titled - Delivering Carbon Neutrality at FIFA World Cup 2022™ - on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 01:00 pm.
 
 
The session will provide an overview of the Carbon Management in place for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, including inventory, mitigation, offsetting and how the FIFA World Cup Carbon Neutrality supports and contributes to a legacy of climate action in Qatar and the region.

Speakers at the Delivering Carbon Neutrality at FIFA World Cup 2022™ webinar include Maryam Al Aali – Project Manager, Kahramma, Abdul Hadi Al Marri – Director, Climate Change, Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Eng.Bodour Al Meer- Senor Manager, Sustainability & Environment at Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy and Federico Addiechi – Head of Sustainability & Environment, FIFA. The webinar will be moderated by Aisha Al Kuwari
 
Josoor Institute is the education and training arm of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, the organization leading Qatar's preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2022™. It was launched in December 2013 as a Legacy project with the goal to help continue to build the capabilities of the sports and events industries in Qatar and the MENA region in the run up to the World Cup, and the longer term a part of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
 
For all their programme, Josoor Institute engages in an extensive network of partners and associates with international expertise who help it to shape, manage and deliver their education and training activities. 
 
In parallel with its core education and training activities, Josoor supports a growing body of research on the sports and events industry in Qatar and the greater MENA region in collaboration with a growing network of faculty experts, professionals, and students.
