Kahramaa organises a virtual review meeting

The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) conducted a meeting to review the corporation’s performance indicators in the fourth quarter of 2020. In the presence of senior officials who took part in the discussion, the virtual meeting was chaired by Kahramaa president Eng Essa bin Hilal al-Kuwari and made note on the most prominent current and future strategic projects.
 
Al-Kuwari referred to the smart projects that Kahramaa is carrying out to ameliorate the level of services provided to consumers, contractors, consultants and suppliers while talking about the electronic invoicing system that would enhance transparency and improve financial control tools. He also mentioned that these projects came out of the eagerness to automate and update all services of Kahramaa.
 
He also highlighted the need to implement careful monitoring of performance indicators to make sure that the smart metre project is progressed quickly and effectively and commensurate with Kahramaa’s quality standards. He also reviewed the enhancements of the new operating system, which was developed within the framework of the efforts exerted to achieve the desired financial sustainability, and also spoke on the consequent improvement in the speed and efficiency of operations and opening horizons for new projects.
