Katara, National Commission for Education Sign MoU for Cooperation in Cultural Field

The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) and the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science have signed Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting and developing the exchange of experiences and cooperation between the two parties in the cultural field.

The MoU stipulates cooperation in the field of exchanging experiences and activities of interest to both sides in the fields of meetings and seminars, cultural diversity, cultural awards, intellectual production, cultural and heritage files. It also aims to support Qatar Vision 2030 in the field of human and social development, and cooperation to achieve common goals that support the vision, and the objectives of the two parties in the fields of education, culture and science based on knowledge and cultural awareness, in addition to joint benefit from the supportive environment and the multiple arenas for activities in the Cultural Village to host and enrich activities in the cultural and heritage fields.

 

The MoU was signed by Katara General Manager Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, and Secretary General of Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science Dr. Hamda Hassan Al Sulaiti.

On this occasion, the Director General of Katara said that the MoU will be a start to continuous and fruitful cooperation within the framework of enriching common experiences for work in the field of education, culture and science, in addition to exchanging experiences in many fields such as cultural diversity, intellectual production, cultural awards, and cultural and heritage files.

In turn, the Secretary General of the Qatar National Commission for Education stated that the signing of the MoU comes within the existing and sustainable partnership between the two sides in order to achieve strategic goals in the cultural field, and to enrich experiences in the field of education, culture and science through mutual support between institutions, government agencies and other relevant bodies to benefit from this community partnership by exchanging experiences, holding lectures, seminars, courses and exhibitions, and participating in relevant events and activities.
