Katara reduces its cost for water sport activities by 50 percent

The rates for all water sport activities in Katara has been cut down by 50 percent. At the moment, booking can be made for motorised activities such as boat ride, catamaran ride, water skiing and parasailing, and non-motorised activities such as sea pedal boat and kayak at half the rate. 
For water sports activities of 30 minutes, the rates are reduced by 50 percent with boat ride now costing QR60 while catamaran ride is priced at QR100. Water skiing and parasailing will cost one QR75 and QR50 respectively while both the non-motorised activities are available to a price of QR25. 
On its social media account, Katara said that the activities depend on conditions by the weather and it is mandatory guidelines to wear a life jacket for all water sport activities. 
All children below the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by adults and for certain activities age restrictions are in place to make sure about their safety while involving in these sports activities.
 
An entrance fee is kept in place at Katara. QR 10 for adults and for those below 18 years of age can avail the services with free of cost. Those who have made their bookings for marine sports are also allowed free entry into the beach. 
The beach is opened daily from 3:30 pm to 11 pm, and swimming will not be available after sunset.
