HH the Amir received a message of thanks and appreciation from HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait.

In the message, HH the Kuwaiti Amir expressed his thanks and appreciations to HH the Amir for the valuable efforts exerted by Qatar for the succession of the great endeavors initiated by HH the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to end the GCC crisis. 

HH the Kuwaiti Amir praised the blessed step that was achieved by reaching an agreement between the brothers, which reflects HH the Amir's keenness to maintain the gains of the GCC structure, its unity, solidity and role on the regional and international arenas.

In his message to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim, he conveyed his best wishes of health and thanked him for the efforts exerted by Qatar to make a success of the efforts started by the late Amir of Kuwait to resolve the GCC crisis and arrive at a final agreement that guaranteed solidarity and co-operation in having a united GCC.

Sheikh Nawaf described the achievement of an agreement "among brothers" as reflecting His Highness the Amir's keenness to maintain the gains of the GCC structure, its unity, solidity and role on the regional and international arenas.

He further said that this will enable the GCC leaders to work together for achieving the hopes and aspirations of the peoples and meet the major challenges facing the region.

He further wished the Amir and Qatar continuous progress and development under his wise leadership.
