HE President of the Republic of Lebanon General Michel Aoun praised Qatar's support for Lebanon to help it overcome the difficult circumstances through which his country is passing.

In a statement during his meeting today with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE the Lebanese President said Lebanon welcomes the permanent support which Qatar provides in all fields, according to the Lebanese Presidency Press Office's statement.

HE the President of Lebanon thanked the interest shown by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in helping to overcome the difficult circumstances which Lebanon is passing through, and their repercussions at all levels.

HE President Aoun said that Qatar has always stood by Lebanon, and any step taken to help resolve the current crises is welcomed and appreciated by the Lebanese. (QNA)
