MADLSA to resume issuing approval for labour recruitment requests from establishments

The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has announced that it will resume, from Sunday, November 15, the process of issuing approval for labour recruitment from companies. The labour approvals were temporarily suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ministry further confirmed in a statement that the system will be resumed to receive recruitment request from companies and that each request will be studied and the company's commitment to wages during the year and the provision of decent housing for workers will be looked into.
The Ministry indicated that the entry of new recruits will continue according to the travel and return policy of Qatar specified by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management and will issue recruitment approvals according to the actual needs of companies and establishments.
