MES Indian School to facilitate COVID-19 tests for students

The date and timing of the tests will be announced later but the tests are not mandatory and no student will be tested without the consent of their parents.
The MES Indian School announced yesterday that it would facilitate COVID-19 tests for its students.
A circular sent out to parents on Thursday stated, “MOPH is organising COVID-19 tests for students of classes KG I to XII on the school premises.” Students up to 14 years of age will be administered a saliva test while those above 14 will get a swab test, according to MES school authorities.
Furthermore, the date and timing of the tests will be announced later, adding that the tests are not mandatory and no student will be tested without the consent of the parents.
The school has sent out consent forms which are to be returned to respective class teachers in PDF format before December 13.
