MES School wins Quran recitation competition hosted by QMASS

Qatar’s MES Indian School has won the overall championship with 40 points in the QMASS inter-school Quran recitation competition that was hosted by QMASS, an affiliated socio-cultural organisation that comes under the embassy of India in Doha.
 
The recitation contest was organised in two categories: juniors from Classes 5 to 8 and for seniors from Classes 9 to 12. 
Mohammad Soofiyan of XI-H won the first prize in the senior’s section, meanwhile Muhammad Patel of VIII-H won the third prize in the junior’s section. 
Among the 14 schools that took part in this competition, students of MES Indian School took hold of the first and third positions in the junior and senior categories respectively.
