Minister of Culture and Sports visits 'Innovation Makers Oasis' to review its progress

HE the Minister of Culture and Sports HE Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali on Sunday visited the 'Innovation Makers Oasis' at Qatar Scientific Club (QSC) and reviewed its development.
 
A statement said that the Minister was given insights about the centre, innovation incubator, engineering design corner and digital workshops and laboratories. He was also briefed on the upcoming library at the QSC and all electronic devices that the club offers to innovators.
 
 
The 'Innovation Makers Oasis', an advanced technological platform in the country, was set up and being progressed since 2020 by the QSC with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. It is all set to be launched this year and function with the aim of keeping pace with the technological enhancement that depends on the techniques of the fourth industrial revolution.
 
The 'Innovation Makers Oasis' offers an effective work environment that encourages innovators and entrepreneurs to continue its progress in their project models until the production stage while giving spaces to those with technical specialties. It includes the fields of engineering design, digital fabrication, modeling and electronics, computing, robotics, artificial intelligence and production mechanics.
