Doha (17/3/2021): A number of their excellencies the Ministers and Interior and security officials visited the National Command Center (NCC) on Tuesday, 16/3/2021, on the sidelines of their participation in the Milipol Qatar 2021 Exhibition in Doha from March 15-17.

 

 

The National Command Center received H.E Mohamed Fahmy, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of Lebanon, Minister of the Interior of Belarus H.E  Maj. Gen. Ivan Kubrakov, Head of Internal Security of the Ukrainian Police and H.E. Deputy Director General of the Italian Criminal Police.

 

The visiting delegations were received separately by Major General Khalifa Abdullah al-Nuaimi, head of the NCC and Col. Ali Mohammed Al-Muhannadi, deputy head of the NCC and Col. Hassan Mohammed Al-Kuwari, Director of the Central Operations Department.

 

 

During the official visit, Their Excellencies the  ministers and security officials listened to a brief summary on the mechanism of work of the NCC and the security systems used in the management of events and crises. In addition to this, they also learned about managing and securing sports competitions and various events hosted by the State, and the coordination mechanism between the Center and the security departments on the one hand and other vital organizations and institutions in the country on the other side.  They also identified the nature of work of  the sections under the  Central Operations Department (999) and deaf emergencies (992) and the mechanism of providing the required services by the competent authorities.

 

For their part, the ministers and security officials expressed their appreciation for the level of performance and the advanced technical systems they saw, expressing their hope to achieve more excellence and successes for the Center in the performance of its functions for a society prevailed by security and tranquility.
