Ministry launches website to celebrate 'Doha, the Capital of Culture in the Islamic World'

A new website has been started for the celebration of “Doha, the Capital of Culture in the Islamic World”, as the Ministry of Culture and Sports announces its launch.
The website also includes an introduction to this hosting and the set aims defined. Along with the list of the events and programmes that will be interspersed, and has added the latest, new, photos and videos of the various events. 
It will give a broader view of Qatar and its culture to those who will follow the event from around the globe. It will also give an introduction the partners, sponsors, and participating entities within the region. It is also planned to issue a monthly electronic newsletter that includes the most important events that are held monthly.
The site will also allow the user to subscribe and communicate with the grand ceremonial that will be watched by many members of the public at home and abroad. This will provide website visitors with easy navigation, access to information and interactive participation. The event will kick start on March 8 and will run throughout the whole year. 
 
The Ministry of Culture and Sports will supervise the whole event in co-operation with the Islamic World Organisation for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), the Qatar National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, and the strategic partners in the country, under the slogan of "Our Culture is Enlightenment", which will seek to promote eternal Islamic values based in particular on science and human dignity, promote the Islamic cultural heritage in an interconnected world, and encourage creativity and innovation as civilised values that enrich Islamic civilisation.
