The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation between them in the childhood fields, in the presence of HE the Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs Yousef bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhroo.

The MoU was signed by Assistant Undersecretary for Social Affairs of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs Ghanem Mubarak Al Kuwari and UNICEF Head of Office in Qatar Anthony MacDonald.

The MoU focuses on cooperation and exchange of experiences, information and studies related to children and ways to develop joint work.

The signing of the MoU comes in the context of Qatar's efforts to cooperate with the UNICEF, especially on issues related to early childhood issues, child protection, and strengthening partnerships in the same field.
