Ministry of Interior books 355 for Covid-19 precautionary measure violations

'Officials from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) have' increased their efforts to prosecute individuals who violate various Covid-19 precautionary measures in the region, reporting 355 violations.
341 people were arrested for not wearing masks in public, and five people were arrested for surpassing the maximum number of people permitted in a car, which is four people, including the driver, except members of the same family.
The Ministry has charged nine people with failure to install the Ehteraz programme.
They were sent to the Public Prosecution for offences, according to the authorities.
Thousands of citizens have been sent to the Public Prosecution by the Ministry for breaching the Covid-19 precautionary steps in the region.
To deter the Covid-19 pandemic from spreading, the Ministry of Interior and health authorities have consistently warned the public to take precautionary steps such as wearing masks, keeping social isolation, and limiting the number of passengers in cars.
