Ministry provides tips to prevent exposure to cyber scams and frauds

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has provided various tips to prevent exposure to cybercrimes and frauds as electronic transactions via apps are rising rapidly among the citizens and residents in Qatar.
MoI has urged the public to follow the provided tips to prevent cyber scams and frauds:
1. Stay away from sharing the OTP (One Time Password) that you received through SMS to your phone with anybody for any reason.
2. Check and verify the authenticity of the calls and messages before taking any action.
3. Assist the Cyber Security Prevention Team by giving complete information about the fraud activity through Mobile: 66815757, Tel.: 2347444 and E-mail:cccc@moi.gov.qa.
4. Mention it to your friends, family and members of the community in order to make them aware of the fraud activities happening around us.
