MoEHE announces Ramadan timings for school students

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced that the attendance of the school students during the blessed month of Ramadan will be from 9am to 12.35pm, with five lessons each day, given that all the schools in Qatar organises the schedule for imparting 25 lessons per week.
 
The MoEHE also made note that the duration of the first three classes must be 40 minutes for each period, and the fourth and fifth classes must be 35 minutes each. There should also be five minutes gap between each session, and the duration of the recess is set for 10 minutes.
 
 
The circular issued by the ministry also states that the attendance of students at kindergartens, will be commencing from 9.30am until 11.30am at the rate of two hours per day, and the school administration has the freedom to co-ordinate the daily schedule. The English language course will be provided at the rate of three lessons on a weekly basis for each class for a period of 45 minutes, from 10.45am to 11.30am, while skills activities are restricted to one hour, starting from 9.30am until 10.30am.
