MOI arrests three individuals after violating home quarantine

The competent authorities of the Ministry of Interior on Tuesday took actions against three individuals in the country who were found guilty of violating the requirements of the home quarantine, which they committed to follow, are legally accountable for, in accordance with the procedures of the health officials in Qatar.
The arrest of the violators came after the mandatory preventive methods were kept in place in the country, approved by the health officials represented in the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), to limit the further spread of the deadly virus. 
 
The violators, who are currently being referred to the designate prosecution, are:
 
1- Ali Mohammed Ali Hamad Tharfas.
2- Qammar Al Zaman Abdulrahim.
3- Saleh Mohammed Mohab Al Din.
 
The competent authorities urged all the citizens and residents who are currently under home quarantine to fully commit to the MOPH’s condition, to make sure their safety and the safety of others are prioritised. 
The officials also added that anyone who violates the quarantine will be subject to article no. 253 of law no. 11 of 2004, provisions of law no. 17 of 1990 on communicable diseases, and law no. 17 of 2002 on protecting society.
