MoJ accredits new batch of Qatari real estate brokers as they take legal oath on Wednesday

A new batch of accredited real estate brokers on Wednesday took legal oath at the real estate brokers committee in the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
The new batch included 14 brokers (individuals and companies) raising the overall number working in Qatar since the new law to 153 Qatari brokers registered at the department. This is the 10th batch since law no. 22 of 2017 on regulating real estate brokers that has come into effect. It is part of the Ministry of Justice's efforts to regulate the sector in a way that serves the national economy and helps by supporting them in order to realize Qatar National Vision 2030.
 
The department of real estate brokerages handles the application process in coordination with the training department in the center for legal and judicial studies.
The two sides made sure that the applicant satisfies all the necessities needed in order to succeed in this job. Requirements also include being a citizen of Qatar with a clean criminal record and a headquarters that is suitable for the real estate brokerage operations. The department also initiates and carries out a training session for real estate brokers.
