MoTC announces suspension of rental services for boats

Doha: The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) in a recent tweet announced the suspension of rental services for boats, tourist yachts and leisure boats.
In order to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, given the recent surge in the number of new daily cases, the Ministry decided to re-impose restrictions. The rental services for boats were suspended as part of Qatar’s plan to reimpose the four-tier plan to curb the spread of the virus.
The Ministry said that the owners of personal boats and yachts were required to adhere to no more than 15 people on board while operating these services.
