 Qatar National Day 2020 slogan
No Darb Al Saai activities for Qatar National Day 2020 will be held this year due to coronavirus crisis but despite this many competitions and seminars will be broadcast on the Doha 360 website.

The National Day Celebrations Organizing Committee has announced the slogan of Qatar National Day 2020, as every year it reveals a unique slogan for the celebrations.

This year's slogan translates to: "We praise you, the Lord of the Throne,

We accept your judgment in all actions."

The slogan is a quote from one of the poems by the founder of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani.

The slogan explains the established faith foundations on which the country was founded and expresses the strength of the people and this land who celebrate   'Qatar National Day' on December 18 each year to commemorate the country's unification in 1878.

The Organising Committee of the Qatar National Day celebrations has also announced that Darb Al Saai activities will not be held this year due to the current pandemic crisis.

However, despite this, it confirmed that this year will witness many competitions and seminars that will be broadcast on the Doha 360 website.

The National Day marked on December 18 is aimed to deepen belonging and loyalty to the homeland, highlighting all manifestations of solidarity, unity and pride in the national identity of the State of Qatar.

Darb Al Saai means the ‘Route of the Messenger’ used by the delegates whom the country’s founder Sheikh Jas-sim bin Mohamed bin Thani would entrust to deliver his instructions and directives.

These men were known for their outstanding characteristic traits such as loyalty, obedience, courage and insight on account of which they were chosen to play such a sensitive role in those difficult times.

The Committee said the events will be held next year, near the Qatar National Day celebrations, but in a new way, according to a Tweet by the Organising Committee for Qatar National Day.
