New agreement signed to increase flights between Doha and Mombasa
The Minister of Transport and Communications, H E Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, and Kenyan Minister of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, James Macharia, signing the agreement.

Minister of Transport and Communications, H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, and Kenyan Minister of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and concrete Development James Macharia, yesterday signed agreement on increasing the amount of Qatar’s national carrier Qatar Airways flights between Bida and urban center by 2 flights to travel up to 6 flights every week. This comes among the framework of boosting business, trade and investment opportunities between the 2 friendly countries. 

Mombasa is that the principal kenyan harbour and also the second largest town in Kenya behind the capital town Nairobi with a serious economic and touristic significance.

 

The two sides conjointly united on signing a cooperation agreement before the tip of this year between Hamad Port and Lamu Port, additionally to forming a joint operating committee for enhancing all aspects of cooperation between the 2 countries within the fields of transportation and ports. The signing ceremony was attended by Kenya’s Ambassador to Qatar Paddy C Ahenda.
