Starting today, certain F&B outlets and public places in Qatar will be closed until further notice as per the new directives set by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI).

The newly added establishments scheduled for temporarily closure from today are:

• All restaurants, cafes, food outlets, vendors and mobile vehicles in sports clubs, Corniche, Al Khor, Lusail, and Aspire Park

• Aspire Park also announced its closure including its walking/ jogging trails following the directions of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management.
  

The above regulation is being taken by the state in the framework of the preventive and precautionary measures to eradicate the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19). 

Any breaches of the policy will bring its violators to legal proceedings, said the Ministry.
