Only take-away and delivery services are available starting today, March 16, in all restaurants and cafes in Qatar. This is due to the new regulation of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MoCI) to suspend dining in local F&B establishments until further notice.

On its official Twitter account, MOCI stated that the suspension is being implemented to to curb the coronavirus (COVID19) spread in the country.

It is now restricted to take dine-in orders and accommodate customers by allowing them to sit or gather inside and outside the establishments' premises.

All commercial dining places are required to abide by the newly implemented policy. All violations will be subject to applicable legal proceedings, according to the ministry.
