Ooredoo sets to be Diamond Sponsor of Camel Racing Event

Ooredoo has announced that it will be the Diamond sponsor once again for the annual camel racing festival, an event which aims at showcasing Qatar’s and the Gulf culture in order to preserve the Qatari heritage for the upcoming generations. 
The Camel Racing Festival that will be witnessed until April 1, 2021, at Al Shahaniyah Camel Race Track – is one of the most popular camel racing events in the country, with hundreds of trainers from Qatar and the Gulf region bringing thousands of camels to participate in the tournament.
 
The festival also includes a schedule of races run over a range of distances. The final race is considered the most prestigious as the champion will be awarded the sword from the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
