PM Meets Senior Participants in Opening of UN Counter Terrorism Program Office

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani met Wednesday with HE President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco, HE Chairperson of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Gennaro Migliore, HE Deputy Director of United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre and Chief of Special Projects and Innovation Branch Mauro Miedico and HE Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Ambassador Sergio Piazzi, on the occasion of their visit to the country to participate in the inauguration of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) program office on Parliamentary Engagement in Preventing and Countering Terrorism.
The meeting was attended by HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud. (QNA)
