Pre-registration on Ehteraz While Coming to Qatar is Optional for Citizens and Residents and Compulsory for Visitors

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has declared that the Ehteraz website's pre-registration requirement will be optional.
In a tweet, the Ministry of Public Health said that registration on the registration platform (Ehteraz) is now optional for citizens and residents, but registration and prior approval is required for visitors.
"To ease the precautionary measures previously announced for those entering Qatar, MOPH announced that registration on Ehteraz Platform is now optional for citizens and residents, while registration and obtaining prior approval remains mandatory for visitors," MoPH tweeted.
It was formerly made mandatory for all visitors to Qatar.
