Qatar Airways: Re-booking, Cancellation of Flights 'Free of Charge'
As Qatar imposes travel ban to Doha starting March 18, Qatar Airways allows its passengers to re-book or reimburse their flights in full and without any charges.
For a period of 14 days, all incoming flights will be canceled and passport holders of other nations will no longer be granted entry.
Those who plan to take onward connections via Hamad International Airport (HIA) will still be accommodated. Transit passengers will be accepted and cargo operations will resume as normal.
The country’s national carrier has also announced the following updates on its operations since the onslaught of coronavirus:
• Qatar Airways flights to Queen Alia International Airport will be suspended effective tomorrow, March 17, until further notice. This is due to the decision of Jordan authorities to stop flights in and out of country.
• The airlines had already suspended its trips in and out Kuwait, following the decision of the country’s authorities.
