Qatar Armed Forces, represented by the Amiri Air Force, conducted the "capsule medical evacuation" exercise at Al Udeid Air Base.

The exercise, which was led by the Air Transport Group at Al Udeid Air Base in conjunction with the US side, aimed at introducing the participating teams to the work procedures required in different situations and gain experience from them; as well as implementing the acquired training in actual accidents and raising the level of practical homogeneity of the participants.

The exercise also aimed at training on procedures for dealing with cases of (COVID-19), and came with the framework of the preparations to host the 2022 World Cup and all future events.

The exercise was attended by a number of officers of the Amiri Air Force and US officers.
