Qatar attends the Moscow Conference on Afghanistan

The State of Qatar on Thursday took part in the Moscow Conference on Afghanistan conducted by the Russian Federation.
During the conference, the State of Qatar was represented by HE Minister of Foreign Affairs' Special Envoy for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani.
The conference stressed upon the support required for the peace process in Afghanistan and the ongoing talks in Doha between the Afghan parties.
The closing statement also lauded the active participation and role of the State of Qatar in facilitating the peace process and supporting the continuation of the Doha negotiations.
