Qatar continues to experience hot weather during daytime with some clouds, slight dust mild at night

The Department of Meteorology reported today that Qatar continues to experience hot weather during daytime with some clouds and slight dust at times becoming mild at night. It added that wind is northerly moderate to fresh reaching 20 kt in some areas at noon time. Sea state remains slight and maximum temperature expected in Qatar at 37°C.

The weather official also announced that wave height ranges between 2 to 4 Ft according to latest observations. It is expected to rise to 5 Ft in northern areas at times.

Earlier this morning, relative humidity was observed reaching 90% in Turaina, with detected mist in some areas. Qatar Meteorology Departments warns everyone to be careful.

High relative humidity was also seen earlier with a chance of mist formation on some areas during late night and early morning, as the visibility may reach to less than 3 km sometimes.

Local authorities call on all members of the society to stay at home, only leave the house when necessary, and maintain social distancing to ensure their safety against the coronavirus (Covid-19) disease. They also urged the public to adhere to the compulsory implementation of wearing face masks and downloading of EHTERAZ Covid-19 tracker when leaving the house as hefty fines and imprisonment will be charged to perpetrators.
