Qatar Customs foils attempt to smuggle narcotic pills

Air Cargo and Special Airports Department thwarted the smuggling of prohibited substance.
The contraband was secretly hidden in the cavity of cardboard boxes.
The number of prohibited tablets was 6009.
Smugglers continuously resort to new methods to smuggle contraband into the country, but the GAC has stayed ready to thwart such attempts. Customs inspectors, through various modern training, are better equipped to prevent the smuggling of banned substances.
