Qatar International Boat Show to pull into port on November 16 at Pearl Qatar

The only major marine event featuring the largest display of boats and latest in marine technology under strict MoPH pandemic precautionary measures will be held this month.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, QAWARIB 2020 – Qatar International Boat Show will take place between November 16 -20 at The Pearl Qatar.

This was announced today morning at a press conference held the Oyster, Pearl Qatar by Al Mannai Plus Events who have been organizing the prestigious international event since 1913.

Speaking to the media, Hamad Issa Al Mannai, CEO of Al Mannai Event Plus said this was the only marine event to take place since Covid-19 pandemic and QAWARIB 2020 was again conducting the event this year but with all the safety precautionary measures laid down by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) for a better and safer experience of the exhibitors and visitors alike. The exhibition will have several additional entrances and exits apart from new and secure Health and Safety Standards that will be strictly followed for the benefit of all concerned.

 QAWARIB is the only major marine event featuring the largest display of boats and latest in marine technology under strict MoPH pandemic precautionary measures. In addition to additional entry/exit points, a variety of ways for visitors and exhibitors to register for the event have been implemented to make the show safe and secure for all concerned.

Al Mannai revealed that in spite of the pandemic restrictions QAWARIB 2020 will feature 32 exhibitors representing more than 150 brands from across the globe with a record number of local companies participating in the event showcasing various marine related products including highly skilled latest state-of-the-art model luxury yachts and boats.

QAWARIB 2020 also provides a single window to luxury lifestyle enthusiasts of the region and preserves the nation’s century old relationship with the sea in addition to its role of positioning Qatar as a regional hub for luxury, high craftsmanship and a hub of most modern boats and marine related accessories. Al Mannai remarked that visitors to the exhibition will witness the top class skills and quality of local manufactured boasts along with a wide display of international brands of yachts and boats.

Al Mannai also noted that the event that was to be held in March earlier this year was postponed due to the pandemic which has affected the economy and tourism industry all across the globe and naturally the boat show was no exception.

Al Mannai also expressed his thanks to his dedicated team on putting in their best efforts in successfully organizing the event, despite all the many hurdles and obstacles they had to face due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has taken a heavy toll on travelling and movements.
