The Department of Meteorology announced today that Qatar is experiencing hot weather during daytime which is becoming mild at night with northerly light to moderate wind. It added that maximum temperature expected in Qatar today at 37°C and sea state remains slight.

The weather official also stated that ea state is light as wave height ranges between 1 to 2 Ft according to latest observations with southwesterly to northwesterly light to moderate wind.

Yesterday's mild evening had temperatures ranging from 29 to 34 ° C, with light Northeasterly- Northwesterly wind.

Local authorities call on all members of the society to stay at home, only leave the house when necessary, and maintain social distancing  to ensure their safety against the coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

It also urged the public to adhere to the compulsory implementation of wearing face masks and downloading of EHTERAZ Covid-19 tracker when leaving the house as hefty fines and imprisonment will be charged to perpetrators.
