The Department of Meteorology reported today that Qatar is experiencing very hot weather during the day with slight dust to blowing dust sometimes and winds mostly northwesterly from fresh to strong in most areas especially during day time hours. It added that sea warning is expected to continue in the country.

According to the latest marine observations, the wind speed ranges between 15-25 kt and the wave height rises to more than 8 ft. marine warning expected to continue until the beginning of next week.

Windly conditions (AlBawarih) expected from Thursday until Sunday
The fresh to strong nothwesterly wind locally known as (Al-Bawarih) expected to affect most areas of the country starting from today, Thursday - June 4, 2020 until Sunday - June 7, 2020.
As the Indian monsoon low deepens, wind speed expected to increase especially during daytime ranging between 12-22 kt gusting to 35 kt in some areas at times which leads to blowing dust and low horizontal visibility reaching 3 km or less in some areas at times.
Wind speed will decrease at night and wave height offshore expected to rise ranging between 4-7 ft reaching 10 ft in some areas at times.
Maximum temperatures expected to range between 35-44 °C during the day and the minimums between 25-30 °C at night across the country.
The Meteorological Department urges all to be cautious, avoid all marine activities and also invites you to follow latest update through its official accounts.
