Qatar opens 100-bed hospital in Gaza Strip

Qatar on Monday initiated the Father Amir HH Sheik Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prostheses in Gaza.

Khalifa bin Jassim al Kuwari, Director General of QFFD, declared the dispatch of the emergency clinic, which was financed by the QFFD for the benefit of Qatar and actualized by the Gaza Rehabilitation Committee in a joint effort with the Ministry of Public Health of Qatar. Qatar has sent specialists to work and prepare the medicinal staff there.

"Offering help to the Arab world, particularly to the Palestinians living in Gaza Strip, has dependably been a top need for Qatar. This emergency clinic for restoration and fake appendages plans to give recovery treatment to Palestinian patients experiencing removal of appendages and to enable them to return to typical life. The populace needs this sort of help to carry on with a better than average life, particularly in light of the troublesome living conditions and the difficulties they are looking in getting to treatment administrations," Kuwari said.

The emergency clinic is based on a region of 12,000 square meters with a limit of 100 beds.
