Qatar participates in Extraordinary Meeting of GCC Health Ministers

The State of Qatar was represented by Her Excellency Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health.
The State of Qatar participated in the extraordinary meeting of Health Ministers in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was held yesterday through visual communication technology.
The State of Qatar was represented in this meeting by HE Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health.
The participants in the meeting reviewed many important topics, including contents related to the health field in the “Al-Ula” declaration and the final statement of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States in its forty-first session “Sultan Qaboos and Sheikh Sabah Summit” held in the city of “Al-Ula” in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the current month of January.
It also discussed the following up on the implementation of the decisions related to the health field issued by the Supreme Council, which are in the general framework of the Gulf public health plan for emergency preparedness and response, the early health warning system guide, and the establishment of the Gulf Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
The meeting also discussed the implementation plan for these decisions.
