Qatar Petroleum (QP) has increased the fuel costs for the period of May 2019. The cost of super and premium oil has hopped 15 dirhams. 

Diesel Cost will go up by 5 dirhams. 

An announcement on QP site demonstrated that premium grade petrol will cost QR 1.95 in May, 15 dirhams more than April. 

Super will be accessible for QR 2.00 in May, 15 dirhams more than April. 

Cost of Diesel will be QR 2.00 in May, 5 dirhams more than April cost of QR 1.95.

QP had increased the petroleum costs in April by 25 dirhams and in March by 5 Dirhams, while it was not changed in February. January saw a major drop in costs as premium and super evaluation oil were less expensive by 30 dirhams. 

At the point when the first list was reported in June 2016 the premium petrol was QR1.20 per liter, super QR1.30 per liter and diesel QR1.40 per liter. 

From April 2016, the Ministry of Energy and Industry had begun pegging the fuel costs to the worldwide market. 

From September 2017, it is Qatar Petroleum who is declaring the month to month value list.
