Qatar ranked world no.1 for mobile internet connection speeds

According to The Global State of Digital 2021 report released by Hootsuite Organization, the average download speed in the country for internet connections via mobile phone has reached 178.01 resulting in officially ranking the State of Qatar number one globally for its high-speed internet connections.

With a percentage reaching 99%, Qatar has also been ranked no.1 globally in the rate of internet adoption among the total population.

The reports indicate that Qatar exceeded many countries globally for their usage of Internet as last January it was noted that the number of people using the internet in the region came up to 2.88 million. The reports also confirmed that people use social media platforms in the country are about 2.87 million, while Qatar's mobile connections increased to 4.67 million and 160.6% of the population.
