Qatar ranks ninth globally for vaccination programme

According to a report Issued by Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Qatar Cabinet on Wednesday listened to the explanation given by HE the Minister of Public Health on the latest enhancements and steps taken to restrict the further spread of Covid-19.
The Cabinet also conveyed its satisfaction for the development of the Covid-19 vaccination programme in Qatar, as 1,168,087 doses of the vaccine have been administered since the start of the programme.
The percentage of people who have received the first dose of the vaccine reached 27% of the overall population in the country and the percentage of people who have received both the doses is 15% of the total population. Thus, the report stated that Qatar is listed ninth in the world in the proportion of people who have got their vaccination, the report states.
The Cabinet lauded this milestone and the plans and programmes that are carried out in order to vaccinate all citizens and residents in the country.
