Qatar Shooting Team Wins Gold Medal in Arab Championship

The Qatari shooting team secured the gold medal in the mixed skeet competition today, in the Arab championship currently held in Egypt and which will continue until June 12, with the participation of more than 300 shooters representing 15 Arab teams.
Qatar's gold medal was secured in the mixed skeet competition by shooters Rashid Saleh Al Athba and Reem Al Sharshani, to be the fourth medal in the skeet competition achieved by the Qatari team in the tournament.
 
Earlier during the competition Qatar's Rashid Saleh Al Athba, Masoud Saleh Al Athba and Ali Al Ishaq won the bronze medal in the team event which was won by the Kuwaiti shooters. Saudi Arabia won the silver medal.
On Friday, Qatar shooting team opened its campaign in the Championship by winning a gold medal and a silver. Prominent Qatari shooter Reem Al Sharshani clinched the gold medal in the women skeet event, as her team-mate, Rashid Saleh Al Athba grabbed the silver medal in the Men skeet event. (QNA)
