Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 154.27 points, or 1.52 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 10,272.11 points Wednesday.

The volume of shares traded decreased to 449,088,671 from 462,959,383 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR724,145,615.654 from QR652,504,612.238 on Tuesday.

Indices of six sectors ended in green zone and one sector in red zone today. QSE Total Return Index increased 1.52 percent to 20,203.82 points and QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained 1.15 percent to 4,335.41 points. QSE All Share Index added 1.00 percent to 3,340.06 points.
