Qatar Welcomes Announcement of Somalia and Kenya Regarding Resumption of Diplomatic Relations

The State of Qatar welcomed the announcement of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Republic of Kenya regarding the resumption of full diplomatic relations between them, and expressed its hope that this step would bring good and prosperity to the peoples of the two friendly countries.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the State of Qatar will spare no effort in achieving peace and stability and building bridges through mediation, activating diplomatic channels and converging views, which will enhance international peace and stability.
