Qatar Welcomes Libyan Government of National Unity Gaining Confidence of Parliament

The State of Qatar welcomed the formation of the Libyan National Unity Government headed by Abdel Hamid Al Dbeibeh, after gaining the confidence of the House of Representatives.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar's full support for the new government in order to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people for development, stability and prosperity.
The statement expressed the hope of the State of Qatar that the new government would pave the way for a comprehensive political solution that preserves the unity of Libyan territories, respects the rights of the brotherly Libyan people, and establishes a state with rule of law and civil institutions.
