“This is the first campaign of Hessa Art House which was established this year and we have launched the business with a charitable project to support pandemic affected families through art. We plan to add many more such programmes in the near future. And I sincerely hope we will be able to raise a good amount of money through this project, as several people are hit hard due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation,” al-Darwish commented.

Some of the most prominent artists in the country, both Qataris and residents have joined hands to make this initiative a success, including leading artists like Hassan al-Mulla - one of the pioneers of art in Qatar, Abdullah al-Fakhro, Jamila Shuraim, Jawaher al-Mannai along with many others.

According the to Qatar Charity (QC) several Qatari and resident visual artists have displayed 42 different paintings on the QC website and social media accounts to support low-income families within Qatar with the profits of these paintings.

Individuals and companies can view them online and buy them by paying electronically.
